It's Summer Time

At Frogfile, our staff has been busy tending our roof top garden. Installed last year, it is in full bloom! This summer we're growing a mini-vegetable plot. Squash, herbs, and strawberries are a few of the delicious delights growing. Besides providing a lovely place for our staff to mingle over lunch, our green roof has many great environmental benefits. The roof acts as an insulator, reducing our heating costs in the winter and cooling our building during the summer months (this was much appreciated over May's heat wave!)

The green roof also helps mitigate stormwater run off from our building and provides a habitat for birds, bees, bugs and insects! For more great photos of our roof visit Frogfile's Facebook Page.
